Project Initialization

Whenever we start a new project, there’s some common setup that we like to go through.

Common Files

There are a few files that are common to every one of our projects.

Required files for every repository:

• README.md: at minimum, should explain how to compile, run, and test the project. The Handbook has a great example.

Other common files that can be useful to include:

• MILESTONES.md: to track each project milestone and progress made. The Handbook has a great example.
• RETROS.md: to track result of each sprint retro and progress made on goals. The Handbook has a great example.
